Hi, Is there anyway I can make my maximum card deck bigger. I have 500 cards and I'm all out of the green stuff to trans-scan and upgrade. So if there is anyway please tell me. Thank you very much.

Ive come to the point now where im costantly running out of upgrade resources as Ive been MTMing everything that I get even though they dont make my deck. So was wondering is there any real point to MTMing the R4s? Should I just trans scan these cards so there in my cyberdex and have done with it? As far as I can see theres no difference to the cyberdex if their fully MTMd or just trans scanned so whats peoples thoughts on this? Oh and while Im at it ive also got a raft of old episode weapon cards that will never be used so should I start using them up to uprgrade my R5 weapons?

Just taking a moment to share the Fan Page that I created for the Transformer Legends Mobile App.

I've been playing this game since it was released at the end of 2012 and in early 2013 I created the Facebook page to be a page run by players for the players.

It was my attempt at creating a place to allow players to keep up-to-date with the game and have a Facebook Community to participate in!

My page is a lot like this Wiki, so please feel free to become a Fan of the page and share in the fun and info!

Transformers: Age of Extinction is just around the corner (finally!), but while we're waiting, how about taking a break by helping us create a Transformers personality quiz? To keep us entertained before the premiere, we are going to make a personality quiz so you can find out which Transformer you would be!

To help out, submit a question that you think belongs on a personality quiz! We want the final results to be Megatron, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Grimlock, and Shockwave, so your question needs to be fairly vague to keep the mystery of the final result alive! When you submit your question, please include the result for each answer option. For example,

When it's time to make a bold tactical decision, what are you most likely to do…

After many months, I have been thinking of new ideas to be in the game instead of just evolvers, and other events that repeat, such as RAW cards and chrono packages. I was thinking about an event that highlighted the combiners such as Bruticus and Devastator. Although, it would be one combiner at a time. Such as if one week was Bruticus, it would be a couple of Autobots, such as Jetfire and Jazz (like in fall of cybertron), and Bruticus/combaticons. It would be similar to an evolution card, but it would compose of all 5 combaticons (Onslaught, Vortex, Swindle, Brawl, and Blastoff). The card over time would evolve into Bruticus and show one limb at a time. Although, it would be up to the game developers to think of the difficulty and rules …

    Campaign Number Crunch

    November 28, 2013 by Terminalvertex

Some data for the current campaign 28/11/2013

H10 Loop Base Points (approx, no capture attempts):
    = 49,300

H10 Nets Gained Per Loop (approx, -1 for use on the boss):
9-1= 8 nets gained (this can change a lot, depends on the waves)

Loop EC Consumption: 5 (from 0 energon, 50 left at end - will vary based on how quickly you do loops)

    Therefore: 98,600 points = 10ec

Factoring in points from nets vary.. sometimes I get 5 captures in a loop, sometimes 1, sometimes none.. so let's say 1 per loop, or an extra 10,000 (approx) points for one capture per loop.

3 H10 boss captures (excluding loop base points): 1,020,000 (saving you 100 ec)

    66 boss captures = 22,440,000 (excluding loop base points) + approx 3,253,800 base points = 25.7mil

    100ec = 986,000

Has anyone else been irked that the Recommend button doesn't automatically pair characters with signature weapons?  I understand that it's possible to have a better deck by not doing so, but in my experience I usually end up with a more powerful deck after I use the Recommend button and then manually assign signature weapons to the appropriate characters.  I'd say 5% of the time not doing so gives me a more powerful deck, but rarely so.  Even in those cases the difference has been small enough that the "Combined Bonuses" obtained during battle more than make up for it.  I'd like to see the Recommend button automatically assign signature weapons or even have a second Recommend button that does.

    Asking For Help...

    November 22, 2013 by Brockrb

Has anyone else been getting frustrated with accepting help requests just to have them finish off the boss before you can contribute?  It's been irking me more and more lately.  I accept a help request only to be notified on the next screen that it's been defeated by the requester.  It gets frustrating since it takes away from being able to actually advance in the game, especially when there are lag issues going on.

To everyone out there, please don't ask for help defeating a boss if you're just going to kill it off on your next attack.  Wait for a while after asking for help to see if anyone accepts your request.  If no-one does then go and finish him off yourself.

Quick post to highlight some of the issues from Ghost in the Machine, to include the lag, the cogs, and the friend reward system.

    Game Lag

As noted on the Frustration & Venting board (here & here), lag has been killer.  This is the first time I've been higher than 20k in my ranking.  Yes, even as a new player I was below 20k.  Now while part of that has been apathy over the rewards and resignation that I'll never get an MTM Brainstorm or Highbrow, the main reason I'm not sitting in Tier 2 right now is because of the game lag.  As in, I can't scan, fight a boss, upgrade or pull medals without the game locking up on my iphone.  Now, while I appreciate the Mobage apology and the "gift" of 15 battlecube recharges for my trouble (REALLY?), it doe…

I received a banner alert on my iPhone the other day regarding GI Joe: Battleground.  It proclaimed that “Trading is Live with New Event!”.  I hadn’t played the game since the first month following launch, so I went to confirm the rumor.  General Joe’s blog confirmed it, and posts in the Battleground forum have since confirmed it.

    So that got me thinking.

DeNa owns Battleground, so it’s not much of a stretch to hope that they’ll eventually allow trading in Transformers: Legends, as well.  I’m not going to speculate on HOW it would be implemented (anyone in the know as to how it works in Battleground, please enlighten me!), but assuming they do, what would I hope to trade for and what would I offer in trade?  I'm sure other players have been in t…

    New Non-Event Cards

    October 5, 2013 by DutchRits

We’ve all done it…cracked a plethora of Gold or Silver Warrior Medals and hardly glanced at the results unless the rarity number reads “4” or “NEW!”.  Who knows how many thousands of Common (C), Uncommon (UC) and Rare (R) cards we have sold or used for upgrade over the course of our time playing this game?  Players’ focus is on improving their decks by upgrading the new cards (and rightfully so), which are all Super-Rare (SR) or Ultra-Rare (UR), introduced during new events as Raid, Reward, Campaign, Login Reward, or Friend Code cards.

So why propose new Common, Uncommon and Rare cards and not just give ideas for new Super/Ultra Rares?  It seems like that would be a waste of time, especially for players who won’t give a second glance to a card…

Once again, I feel compelled to comment on event(s) rather than post what I said I would, previously.

S.O.S. Dinobots had enough about it that it demanded attention, and The Omega Corps REALLY needs some commentary.  Here are a few items I noticed, and please comment if you feel I’ve overlooked anything.

    SOS DINOBOTS

    Episode Characters:

Evolve Sunstorm and Evolve Skywarp are pretty close in ability, being separated by 7k MTM total but with the bulk of the difference being in Defense (2,079 in Skywarp’s favor) and Health (4,855 diff., advantage Skywarp) but with Attack being only 94 points apart.  Both cards are superior to most Raid Tier 3 cards, and are HUGE improvements over the previous Campaign event Evolve cards, Wheelie/Wreck-Gar/Ultra Mag…

This post begins my discussion of just how to improve Transformers: Legends by re-balancing the event/episode cards.  The previous “Character Card Comparison” posts have highlighted the obvious “deck creep” that has been the standard since the introduction of the events/episodes while also demonstrating the absolute lack of “relative capability” between the character cards.  I’ll begin by getting a few common terms & definitions down before discussing the reasons for rebalancing, outlining how to do it, and then stating a few assumptions that must occur for this to be successful.  My proposed solution(s), while not perfect, will go a long way towards "fixing" this game.

Note: This post is still a “draft,” so I may return with a few edits.

    Android Pricing

    September 3, 2013 by Masarujasu

One cost for all - it sounds good in principle, but is a mere platitude.

Here's the mobacoin packages on Android (GooglePlay).

    Mobacoins 100 305 1020 2060 5210 10525
    USA (USD) 0.99 2.99 9.99 19.99 49.99 99.99
    Australia (AUD) 0.99 2.99 9.99 19.99 49.99 99.99
    Malaysia (USD) 0.99 2.99 9.99 19.99 49.99 99.99

Each package tier is worth the same amount of coins for the same dollar value.

If you live in the US, you get what you pay for on GooglePlay. We'd probably treat this as the baseline pricing structure. Prices are normalized around what the market will bear, and what the market will bear is based on perceived consumer value in relation to the cost of living.

In Australia, prices are in AUD - currency conversion is decoupled from the USD; independent…

    Help/ ideas for episode

    August 29, 2013 by Bazalooney

just after a few opinions here folks, right im not a pay to play guy so i was wondering how to play this episode. Im never gonna finish in tier 1 or 2 so the Arcee and Perceptor cards are not gonna be won by me but also the other 2 characters are of no importance as I have them both. This means I will be just stocking up on battle cubes etc. As for the evolve cards, ive got the 2 Wheelies so do I grind easy levels to finish him off? I dont think I will get all of Utra Magnus or Wreck-Gar just using nets so should I just keep the 2 chains from this episode and then use the 4 in the next episode or wait and see if I catch 2 of either of them and MEM? Also closing in on 450 ruby medals so should I just use these on the 150 ruby medal space br…

With the re-introduction of ruby medals this week, I was sure this would be one of the best episodes yet.  In a way, it was.  But I still managed to screw it up.

Why don't I ever take my own advice?

Once again, I tried to do too much.  I stayed up late last night to earn ruby medals in a bid to get an MTM Prowl and ended up missing all but the last 10 minutes of the final day, which is the best time for racking up points.  For the first time in several weeks, I didn't make the top 3000 in a raidboss event.

In retrospect, I overestimated how many medals I could get in the second half of the campaign.  Here's a good rule of thumb: expect to earn about half as many medals in the second half of the event as in the first.  Knowing what I know n…

Okay, I just had to add something about the current episode, Thin Blue Line, so I'm posting about this rather than my rebalancing plan.  Bear with me.

First, Mobage got it right with this one.  The Ruby Medals earned with boss defeats scale with the difficulty of the boss (i.e., you only get 2x medals for participation/MVP Drag Strip, but three for Dead End, etc.), and their use as currency for Space Bridge Raid Cards is pure genius.  Not only are casual players rewarded for putting in a bit of effort, but collectors/hardcore players have a better chance of drawing the cards they need without breaking the bank.  I believe in giving recognition where it is due, and this is the best thing I think Mobage could have done for the game to address…

In this post I’ll be continuing my discussion of the Event/Episode Super-Rare (SR) cards that I began previously ([1]), but I figured I would go ahead and add in a separate discussion on the new Evolution cards.

You’ll notice some additional colors in the chart to the right.  The tiers scale was discussed in the last post, but here’s a bit more detail:

Raid Card Tiers: Dark Blue = Tier 3; Dark Green = Tier 2; Maroon = Tier 1, non-UR

    Reward Card Tiers: Blue = Tier 4; Green = Tier 3; Yellow = Tier 2; Orange = Tier 1; Red = UR

"Okay DutchRits, all you did was state what was in the chart."

Yes, but here's why.  Those Tiers are meant to represent the relationship between the respective Raid/Reward Tiers.  That is the ONLY means of comparing cards bet…

    Hey folks,

I've been hard at work trying to arrive at some combat math calculations and seem to have stumbled onto something. However, due to the slow nature of the current event, I will require a bit more help, as I cannot get enough numbers quickly without burning energon I'd rather not burn.

    Here is what I need:

Focus on one of your three trios (L, S, S). I need each man's defense (from the Edit numbers in the team window) and a few recordings of combat damage dealt in one boss hit to all three members. The latter is best accomplished by screenshotting as the hit is dealt. (This does require some good timing.) For now, position is irrelevant. Also, let me know which boss and level you have fought (Bonus points for Hotspot 8 and 10, which I…

If you'll glance at the attached chart, you'll see that I've sorted the current URs alphabetically and by MTM total.  I also included the color gauge for ATK/DEF/Health to better help you pick out the high/low/average cards.  I also included Episode Prowl, the SR Tier 1 reward for Covert Operations, for context to highlight how close the Episode SR cards are getting to the URs, thanks to deck creep. …

For me, the results of this week's event were a mixed bag.  I was making a big push to crack the top 1000, but I ended up doing about as well as I usually do.

Before I go on, let me say thank you to all the people who read and responded to my last post.  I'll write later to follow up on the strategies I discussed before, and with the next event, I hope to use this blog to walk you through my event strategies more or less in real time.

Back to "War Dawn," let me say I finished with 3,417,410 points.  This puts me in the top 3000, which is about what I usually do, but well below my personal high of around 4,300,000 points.  Part of the reason was that I missed what should have been my final push.  From experience, I find that the last couple…

Continuing the discussion from the last post [1], this one will be about the Pre-Ultra Rare Event Raid/Reward Super Rare cards.  This will encompass Fatal Furies, Unleash the Beasts, Cold Delivery, and Countdown to Extinction, focusing on the horrendous deck creep from event to event.  For questions on the rationale behind the Tiers and the deck creep, please read the previous installments.

Also, please note that the colors in the chart are a little different.  They're set up to reflect the tier that an Event SR card falls into in relation to other cards from other events in the same Tier, not a distinct stat grouping.  For example, Episode Slipstream is a Tier 3 Raid Card, the same as Episode Divebomb, Episode Scourge, and Episode Red Aler…

Hello to all my fellow players,

Before I begin, let me say that the reason I think these strategies will work for you is that they've definitely worked for me.  Since June, I've gone from placing in the top 20,000 in "All Hail Galvatron," to placing just outside the top 5000, to consistently placing in the top 3000 in raidboss events; I've pl…

I'll begin my discussion of the Event/Episode SR Cards with the first three events: Harvest of The Insecticons, Day of the Dinobots (Part 1) and Robots in the Sky.  There are two reasons I'm discussing these three events separately from the rest:

    1) They begin the stat deviation from the trend of MTM tiers I discussed in the previous installments ([1], [2], [3], and [4]) by dramatically increasing the stats of the SR and R cards.  (Note: I will eventually go back to Part 1 to better define a few key phrases I've been using)

    2) Up until Covert Operations they were the only events to feature R cards as Raid & Reward Cards.

The link below takes you to an Excel where I've crunched the odds of some number of MTM pairs (ie Bot and Alt) when buying up to a certain number of tiers in the Space Bridge:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/3fdmbtp3f63wl9j/Space%20Bridge%20Probabilities%20-%20WAR%20DAWN.xlsx

    Key assumptions:

    - There is an equal probability (1 in 6 chance) of getting any of the 6 cards when you're guaranteed an episode card. I do not see any reason to disbelieve this, as all the 6 cards are R4s in this event.

    - Also note the link does not distinguish between x3, x5 and x7 MTM-pairs. It just tells you how many MTM-pairs you are likely to wind up with. So if you want to get only an x7 MTM set, for you may want to multiply my odds by a third (since I assume any MTM-pai…

Covert Operations had the same effect on me as an 'I don't care - settle for tier two' event like Bee Team except it took even less effort. Felt like a holiday, but I mean one of those retirement holidays where you know you have one foot in the grave. I was working on the DP calculator with dedication but interest in this game and the desire to solve the mechanics has waned in line with enthusiasm for the event. I hope the next episode brings back the older format, if only for the fact it requires some attention, creates some competition and demands some teamwork because the solo campaign is monotonous, and the forum participation dwindled as a result. The forum interaction is 80% of the fun.

    - Tier Rewards: I'm overjoyed to see that there are Lvl3 (Rare) cards in the rewards, as well as one of the non-Event/Episode Lvl4 (SR) cards!  THAT is the way to reward casual players!  Those cards will be USEFUL to new players, but won't get close to making the team of an experienced player.  Well done!  EXCEPT...that you (Mobage) made them the Tier 3 & 4 rewards, respectively, which means that in order to get Elite Soundwave you have to finish in the 1k-5k range, while R Sound…

I am gonna just put this out there as Mobage probs wont even look at the post I put on feedback but heres a few ideas anyways -

    1) As energon chains are pretty much the only way were gonna get anywhere decent , how about rewarding us with 1 for every 100 or so catches, then either every 100 or more after. That would give people a reason to actually keep playing.

    2) Make our levels relevant, as in im lvl 246 so really catching a Buzzsaw or Reflector should be made easier and same with the other bosses so basically the higher level you are the better rate of catches.

    3) Not strictly my idea but good anyways is we should be able to choose how many nets to use. Just like with the 1-3 energon cube system but with nets instead, if you use 3 the cat…
